    Rolen lookin good tonight.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Maybe the "comfortable" part is a little overblown. He's a pro, he should be able to throw strikes.

Hey Patrick, Hawks draft Teravainen, ranked #7. Calagry Puck was pissed Flames traded down and missed him.

Yep, would be a huge shot in the arm if he resembled something useful for the rest of the year.

Hey Devin. Want to stay with the big club? Folks are complaining you aren't being used enough?

We need you to hit a fly ball. We'll take better, but we need a fly ball.

Up to you guy. Let's go get 'em.

I figure a guy who has yet to throw in the major leagues this season is less likely to be in pristine form than a guy that has been doing so dozens of times already.

Bray walking the first guy he faced does not surprise me.

Works out great for the Twins. A bases loaded situation with Mes hitting on the interstate and the pitcher's spot up.

This would be a good spot for a top notch lefty pinch hitter.
