No excuse to lose this game. Just pathetic.

Oh well, back to being glad the Jerry Sandusky jury didn't screw up.

Someone needs to tell the manager that his first two hitters shouldn't lead off. Rhetorical question. One game lead, three games off in only four days. Unacceptable.

Seems so typical of the Reds, get a rally going, tying run in third, less than two outs and your 1 and 2 hitters can't put the ball in play.

They aren't going to be what stops us from winning the division. They have no chance of finishing first.

Just to continue on my previous point that it could be worse...

It was June 20, 2007. Reds down 5-3 to the A's in Oakland. Reds down to their final out. Hamilton's at the plate, having hit a two run home run earlier in the game. So Narron takes him out for pinch hitter Juan Castro.

"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."
