Homer just misses inside to Morneau on an 0-2 pitch. Now 1-2. Now 2-2.

2-1 after another close pitch to Plouffe. That looked pretty good to me.

    Lecure throwing.

    Phew.

    More runs, please.

Plouffe grounds into a FC at short. 4-3 Reds mid 5th.

Homer with 91 pitches. He should be able to work another inning. He's through the middle of the order, that helps.

Well, he got out of it. But you could tell that the missed strike three got in his head somewhat. It seemed like he started pressing a bit. Unfortunately, 13 extra pitches that inning or so that weren't needed. Grrrrrr.

But he didn't fall apart. He pitched that last hitter tough.

And I certainly didn't mind the walk to Willingham. Better a walk than a double.

Homer is a much improved pitcher IMO.

That stinks. Homer threw strike 3 to Willingham, but didn't get the call. Ended up throwing a lot more pitches because of it.
