I know he had a good night but still bottom line 0-4 since Rolen came back and back to our losing ways

Rolen can't go out to the mound and start throwing the ball, and if you want to know why we're o for four, the mound is the place to look.

What was the point in bunting, if you don have any intentions on sending the runner on a base hit?

That makes no sense. Without that win streak we'd be in real trouble.

I cant explain it--I'm not blaming the losses on Rolen--we were just piddling along the 1st 6 weeks of season--he goes on dl and we catch fire--he comes back and we are 0-4.

Ya not blaming all the losses on rolen but I just think we r a better team with Frazier as our starting third baseman. I think we 8 under 500 with rolen that makes us 15 over 500 with Frazier

Its easy to explain: the pitching was ordinary the first six weeks of the season, was great thereafter, and has not been very good the last four games.

He just didn't read it off of the bat. It has nothing to do with Rolen being slow, he held up to see if it would be caught.

But I think berry held him because he is a slower runner, if Harris is n the game I think berry sends him

Disagree....I was there and it had to hesitate for Span...had to...then Span had the ball near home just as Rolen rounded third

Either way I don't think that was the problem. Berry sends him with 2 outs.

Cozart needs to hit a flyball, just like Mes needed to.

The ball was hit too hard. Rolen, Harriss and Leake would have all been out by a mile. That play is not why we lost this game.

Good point, you don't gamble with one out. Fundamental.
