Span popped out to left center
    Revere grounded out to shortstop
Mauer dribbled one and Hanigan tagged him out.

Span made Cueto work but otherwise painless inning.

And the Cardinals are up 5-2 on the Royals in the 7th.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

Offense appears to be disjointed today. At bats by Heisey and Bruce were not good. Might be a long day, but it's early.

Announcers talking about all the guests for Casey's induction, including Dmitri Young, Chris Reitsma, John Riedling, Aaron Boone, etc. It's a lost decade reunion!
