The AZL Reds got one back in the top of the 7th on a Denis Phipps HR (Lutz followed with a single), but the Dodgers got a HR of their own in the bottow of the inning. Now 10-5 Dodgers in the 8th,

Hamilton's 1-3 with two walks and four more stolen bases tonight.

The two BBs give him 42 for the season, a BB% of 13%. Solid, that.

His K rate is just over 16%, fwiw.

    Other numbers include:

    -- an OPS over 875
    -- an OBP over .425
    -- a SLG over 450
    -- a SB success rate of 84%
    -- a BA of 332

From a SS (at least so far) who's (still) 21 years old (until September).

Best season for anyone in a Red minor league uniform, for sure. (Though Cingani may have a say if he finds the dominance he had in Bakersfield.)

Billy Hamilton walks. Theo Bowe to 2nd.

Dominic D'Anna grounds into double play, third baseman C. J. Retherford to first baseman Austin Gallagher. Theo Bowe scores. Billy Hamilton to 3rd. Devin Lohman out at 2nd.
Travis Mattair singles on a line drive to left fielder Leon Landry. Billy Hamilton scores.

Wins - Louisville, Pensacola, Bakersfield, Biillings
    Losses - Dayton, AZL Reds

I was kidding with Doug in last night's game thread and said I thought Hamilton would have his 100th steal before the end of play next Sunday. Now, instead of a joke, it looks like it may end up being a conservative estimate. He might actually get to last years total of 103 by then.
