Harris hitting for Mesoraco. Guaranteed bunt attempt here.

    uhhh, why is this happening?
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

WHAT?!? Mesoraco 2 for 3. And Dusty pulls him so Harris can pinch hit? That's odd. I'd assume bunting.
    2014 predictions:

I hate the PH for Mesoraco. And I hate the bunt.

That's fine, but saying he should go to AAA to learn how to pitch when he spent the first 2 months of the season dominating major league hitters is nuts. He'll just overpower AAA hitters with his fastball more than he does major league hitters.

Sending him to AAA is an amazingly dumb idea.
I wouldn't send him to AAA, but he is going to keep getting hammered if he doesn't mix in his offspeed pitches. I would probably take him out of the closer role as well.

That's a fair point, not arguing any of that.
