    damn
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Valdez grounds into a 5-4-3 DP on the first pitch. 1-1 after 5.

Our 1-2 hitters are unbelievably bad. Time for change.

Doesn't the #2 hitter have the only RBI of the day?

Together they're 1 for 6 in front of Votto. 1 for 9 yesterday.

I would put Heisey either in the bottom of the order or preferably on the bench. Our top two hitters are OBP-ing at .300 and .237. And Heisey's .300 is soft.

Heisey is probably headed back to the bench after today as more than likely Stubbs will be back tomorrow.
