Denard Span out of the line-up today....

Ok, middle of the order seeing this lefty for the 3rd time. Time to tee off.

When Leake is on, I'd say he is my favorite starter to watch, due to how fast he works.

Are you hoping Span gets on the Reds' plane after the game?

Me too. Watching Bailey and Latos throw so many pitches is hard to take. Credit the opposition's hitters if you want.

We have 3 hits and two of them are from 8-9. 1-7 all have been bad.

Absolutely. They can have Stubbs and Ondrusek for him.

"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

What was Berry thinking? Ludwick doubles to left. He sends Bruce who was out by a mile.

That ball was practically back in the infield as Bruce hit 3rd.
