Cozart could have been more patient there. First one was a ball, then he swung at one that looked off the plate.

Stubbs taking some pitches, now 3-1.

Stubbs does in one at-bat what Heisey couldn't do in approximately 9000000.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

*sigh* Hit and run....fly out by Votto. DP. Good idea, poor execution. No, that's not a bad call by Dusty.

Don't be upset. At least there was no bunt that inning.

With a guy like Votto up, I just let him swing and don't risk anything. If it were Phillips up, I'm okay with sending him.

I think Dusty made the right call there. We DO need to be more aggressive on the basepaths. We've been very passive this season in that regard.

A guy not named Votto took a walk. I'm happy.

Phillies up 4-0 already on the Buccos.
