That's something I've been an advocate of since last season. Hitting in front of Votto he's seeing a lot more fastballs. Now just to get a cleanup LF so Phillips can move to leadoff.

Then again...EVERYONE is a better hitter hitting in front of Votto. It's a matter of how much better. :O)

And you have the slices and scoops promo as well. If the Reds pitchers record 11 strikes with that game ticket you will receive a small LaRosa's pizza and a voucher for a scoop of UDF ice cream.

My brother took half his kid's team to the game tonight. I assumed it was something to do with the Kid Glove deal. I mean, it's not like he was going to pay regular price for them .

All of a sudden, Latos has lost his release point. Nearly airmails one, then bounces one in front of the dish, then airmails another. Then grooved. Dinger Aoki. 2-1 Reds.

"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Latos allows a lot of homers. That pitch was grooved.

Now Cozart makes a nice play to get Morgan.
