Sir Charles, you and I are on almost the exact same wavelength! Now if only I can convince you that Rolen's strike 3 pitch was low.... :P
No, I agree with you. It WAS low. Just low in the zone. *grin*

Latos, after 3 innings, on pace for 18 K's on 114 pitches.

    38 pitches. 7 balls, 31 strikes. 6 k's, 1 bb, 1 hit. Since those first 2 batters...he's been a monster.

Exactly right, unless Willingham swung at it. And if he swung at it he would have missed it or popped up.

And if he walked, the Twins would have had two on, but the Reds would still be leading.

Once Chapman fell behind 3-1 the last thing I wanted was for him to fear the walk. Well, Aroldis avoided the walk. His walk rate was not hurt. His won-lost record was hurt.

Latos up. This is a BAD swing folks.

LOL. And that's why I'm not a coach. Latos with a single. :O)

Hanigan doubles. Ryan has had a rough month or so, with only two extra base hits in that period before today.

Good to see him get the double.

    Latos singles.

Mr. Baker, glad you decided not to bunt, for a change.

Latos is a pretty horrible bunter. I think that factored into it.

I don't think that Baker has bunted all year with a runner on second, one out.

Hanigan is also a glacial runner. Swinging away was the best choice there, in my opinion.
