That was a forward roll. My 5 yr old was in a tumbling class and that's one of the first things they teach.A real somersault is a front flip, landing on your feet, at least I think.

Whenever they decide to make an Aroldis Chapman bobblehead they should have him doing a barrel/commando/forward/somersault roll. That would be awesome. Or maybe make is arm come forward and flames shoot out. It could double as a cigarette lighter.
