I remember when Riverfront opened in 1970. There was a lot of talk of how the Reds got off to such a great start in 1970 at Crosley field, would they be able to continue to play so well at Riverfront. The move definitely affected their play, reducing home runs and extra base hits. They went on to win the NL pennant, but were definitely not as dominant in Riverfront. Then they lost to the Orioles in the Series (the Brooks Robinson series).
