Arroyo is a 90-95 pitch pitcher. His pitch count was high, for him.

I'm told Dusty is a good manager because we're in first.

Don't blame it on Dusty. someone in the Sundeck started an Arroyo no hitter through 7 thread. Its his fault

Yes, you do realize after the first hit I said get him out? They were hitting the ball hard from the seventh on. Plus, how many times have we all seen Bronson hit a wall and get shelled?

How can we blame Dusty when it was obviously Thom and Chris?

I don't hate on Dusty there. Arroyo pitching a no hitter into the inning. Seeing eye single finds grass off end of the bat. That's baseball.

Arroyo was over 100 pitches and there were two lefties due up. Lefties own Arroyo. You had one of the best LH relievers in baseball warm.

What do you do? Leave him in!

I'd agree, except he had Sean Marshall ready. Great reliever pitching very well.

No guarantees, but seems to me the usual call would be to the bullpen there.

You can agrue that Arooyo should have been taken out for many reasons, but the fact of the matter is, you can't use the argument he should have been taken out based on the bloop hit.

In fact, the way Arroyo handled his last two batters likely shows that Baker was correct, at least based on the weak contact.
