I can't decide if the Dusty hate on this board is getting laughable or sad...

Dusty Baker is history's greatest monster.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Well, Marshall is a pretty great reliever. He's ready in the pen, lefty due up, Arroyo gassed after no-hit bid fails, tying run on second, eighth inning.

I mean, there is a decent argument that Dusty messed that up.

Dusty is pitiful. Defending him is laughable and sad.

Now we see the best lefty reliever in the NL from a season ago.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

Usually when a team's #3 pitcher throws 7 no hit innings, he at least comes away with a win. 3-3 Tie ball game and Arroyo will get a no decision either way.

Dusty leaves starting pitcher in (Arroyo), gets bashed.

Dusty takes starting pitcher out (Leake), gets bashed.

Dusty takes a breath, gets bashed.

I'm not sure if Arroyo was gassed, his pitch count wasn't that high, and neither of the last two batters hit it hard.

I still would have taken him out after the Hart double.

You do realize the guy hit a bloop single? Come on. If he would have taken out Arroyo and Marshall gave up the hit, Dusty would have been crapped on big time.
