Cody Ransom and Rickie Weeks came into today under the Mendoza line.
I honestly don't know a whole lot about Ransom, but Weeks has historically absolutely owned Homer.

Homer's decision ultimately. He has the right to shake off any sign or location he is given. However, you have to think he is less likely to throw that pitch with Hanigan behind the plate. Mes not as far along in that area at this point.

I will just never figure Homer out. I see some much ability there and something just isn't clicking. When both Leake and Broson whom I believe each don't have the talent level Homer does out performing him I just have to wonder if Homer is what he is and is just going to be a 4/5 type of guy in your staff who will every so often have a great game surrounded by average to sub average games...

Has Homer just been terrible or has he given up some cheap GABP homers?

If Homer was a road, your car would need new shocks by now ....

Weeks' was 400 feet to dead center. I don't think Ransom's was a cheapie either.

I think for the most part, yes. He is what he is. I'm not mad about it, though. You gotta have five starters. At 26 and with as much experience in the big leagues as he has, he's probably not going to ever become a 1 or 2 guy. He could have a couple of 1 or 2 type seasons, but he's probably going to stick at this point as a back-end guy.

Greinke ripped that one. He ripped one just foul down the line in his first at-bat.

Twelve hits in the game. Seven for extra bases.
