The walks are why I'd package hi - and the excellent numbers are the lure for a good return - it's not giving up its selling high for a guy who blows up once in a awhile but looks very dominant much of the time. I think he'd be valuable - and I like the bullpen well enough even without him. Add a couple other pieces and maybe you get a DeJesus or other player that fills a need

    Ludwick pads his stats

    8-4
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

I've been beating the BP to leadoff, Ludwick to cleanup drum for a few weeks now.

Jeebus, Luddy. Please become the left fielder we all want.

Sit Heisey and let Ludwick start most of the time. Give a few to Frazier but let Frazier start most at third and let Rolen become the PH off the bench. Heisey backs up left and center as the 5th OFer.

When that guy says "we" in reference to the Reds, he means it. My hero.
