Have to say, I'm kind of shocked that Walt doesn't just tell Dusty to get the kid out of the lead off spot already. It's so completely obvious. Even I've figured this one out.
I doubt anyone tells Dusty anything. I think they consider him a legend.

Stubbs strikes out looking. 6 Ks for Bumgarner. 2-0 Giants mid 6th.

That low strike would be nice to get on Cueto's end. This ump. Ugh!

We're in first place, I'm told he's doing a great job.

In all seriousness though, there's a reason Dusty is managing on the last year of his contract right now. That doesn't happen with somebody you're happy with.

Ain't that the truth. He's been squeezed low all night while Madison's getting that call

I wonder if they teach you to aim for a homer in every AB at the Jay Bruce baseball camp?

Bum garner with 74 pitches through six. Woe is us. I'd go to bed, but I'm a sucker for punishment.

Cabrera reaches on a ball that Cairo boots. We are spoiled watching Phillips every day. He would have made that play easily.

I thought the same thing. I'm sure guys like Walt can see what fans see.

Normally I strongly dislike called third strikes by Reds hitters. But I can't give Stubbs any flak for that one.
Eric Stratton, Rush Chairman. Damn glad to meet ya.
