I esp. hate it when Bruce has an AB with a runner on 2B with less than two outs and they do the shift basically giving up the bunt single if he would work at it. Reds could then have a runner on 3rd with 1 out or less in a year in which runs are at a premium most nights all around MLB it seems.

That was a 100% no doubter.
He didn't have great production so to speak as his RBI and runs were maybe not what you'd hope....but the guy played his tail off every time, sacrificed his body, played excellent defense and from May 13th to June 20th he had around 30 starts and hit .302 during that period.
that's not something you see very often
