Has anyone with the Reds said how long Joey will be out? I still haven't heard. Dusty commented yesterday that it would probably be day to day. They were going to see how he felt when he came to the park today. Whenever Votto is injured it makes me nervous.

there's nothing like bowling a 300 game! 13 now and retired.

It must be bad to where he couldn't pinch hit in the 9th inning today when they sure could have used a major league hitter. That was a wasted game period.

I heard someone on the radio say they don't think he'll be back until after the AS Break.

if true, it's going to be a long week. i'm at least pleased that we have our 3 best pitchers pitching against the dodgers.

I assume that was someone just speculating, though they may well be right.

This is just Joey's way of getting Brandon into the All-Star Game.

Yep. Votto tailed off considerably the last week or so. It was well deserved.

    McCutchen .370, 7 hrs, 26 rbi, 4 sb
    Votto .392, 6 hrs, 18 rbi, 1 sb

Did you intend to leave out OPS (I havent checked the numbers)?

But in the laymen categories, I will concede Andrew looks better.
