Hopefully a day off is all he needs. Him and Cueto are the 2 guys that must stay healthy IMO

Waiting for an official update..."inflammation" in a knee scares me. Talking about making or breaking the season based on how bad, or not bad, it is.

    Hope it's not Lupus.

I think he may have aggravated the knee a while ago. Maybe it just flared up on him today. Im not doctor and have never claimed to be but IMO he looked like he could have continued playing. I just think its one of those aches and pains every player goes through in a season. Hopefully we have some more information on this tonight or hopefully tomm. before the game. You are right tho with this making or breaking the season. I just have a feeling its a day to day thing.

Haha, I normally would have but I've been watching House on DVD a lot lately so it was the first thing to pop to mind.

Joey Votto doesn’t think his left knee problem is serious. Votto left Saturday’s game after grounding out in the fifth inning.

He originally jammed his knee sliding into third base on Friday night.

“I tried to play through it,” he said. “It started acting up. There is some inflammation in my knee.” ... But Votto doesn’t sound overly concerned. He was upbeat and joking after icing the knee Saturday.

“We’ll have to see,” he said. “I don’t see why this should linger. There’s nothing structural. It happens sliding sometimes, then today – with the short turnaround – it lingered. I think I’ll be fine.”

Anything concerning Joey Votto is serious.
Just hope he reads his body as well as he reads opposing pitchers.

I hope the Reds have Kobe's German doctors on speed dial. Just in case.

I would bet Dusty sits Votto today which would probably be wise.
...the 2-2 to Woodsen and here it comes...and it is swung on and missed! And Tom Browning has pitched a perfect game! Twenty-seven outs in a row, and he is being mobbed by his teammates, just to the thirdbase side of the mound.
