    I can't believe I just saw that....

If we miss the playoffs by one game, remember that.

I guess the wind took that one. Jay's pretty solid out there, so I can't imagine him misplaying one that badly unless the wind was playing havoc out there. Tough loss.
    2014 predictions:
99-63 WS champs (Cards take 2nd WC, Mil 3rd, Pit 4th, Chi 5th)
Bruce/Votto neck and neck MVP race (neither takes it)
    Bailey CYA winner
    Hamilton ROY & GG

Eh, the two blown saves against the Indians and Twins by Chapman still stick in my craw.

"If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

    The Giants announcers were dumbfounded.

In a game the Reds weren't supposed to win, and had all the makings for them to pull this one out, it's beyond disappointing. I can't believe all of the blunders here.

Winning games like that evens out the ones you blow and then reference in Sept when you get eliminated. Silly loss.

At least the other team earned it in those games. A botched defensive play by supposedly one of the best RFers in the game? That's a giveaway.

I want him fired because he stinks at his job.

Just saw the Cairo hit and yeah, there's no reason why two runs shouldn't have been scored on that.

Upsetting to lose that way, Bruce just made a bad play, it happens. I'm more annoyed about the Berry thing in the top of the ninth.
