To say that was a let down is a HUGE understatement. Only getting a tie there looms large and I don't expect us to win now. I hope I'm wrong....

Arredondo, which is fine if he avoids walking everybody.

Pretty much, and it's all the more frustrating because I wasn't counting on the Reds to win this one. But if you're that close, you gotta finish it.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

If the Reds can get through the middle of the order here, they will win.

    One out.

agreed 100%. and the fact that there is no votto in the lineup makes it even more difficult for the offense.

Reds in a bind here, already used Valdez and Heisey with Rolen and Votto (presumably) out.
This is the ol Left Hander rounding third and heading for home.

    Big K of the Melkman.
All my posts are my opinion - just like yours are. If I forget to state it and you're too dense to see the obvious, look here!

Not as much as you'd think. We've got some pretty athletic pitchers who can field and hit.

And thus the reason Berry should have sent the runner. Go for the win when you have the chance. I don't think there would have been much of a chance of them getting him at the plate.

You are assuming Leake would be called on.
