If it were one guy that would be one thing, most of the guys on our team can't bunt.

Whenever I head down to Minute Maid I get there early to watch batting practice. Most teams have their players lay down bunts on the first two pitches they see. It is a joke for them. They could not care less how they bunt the ball.

The guy is a switch hitter and is hitting .340 in AAA. If Costanzo, Harris, and Negron get a shot I wouldn't mind seeing a former All-Star.

Most of the team sucks right now....the starting lineup today (with Frazier) can boast 4 batters hitting over .250...

It's a lost art these days...well at least on our team.

I guess he could get a shot, just don't think he is any good anymore.

I have seen the Reds bunt during BP. There is a difference between practicing bunting and just sticking your bat out twice.

Ludwick with two hits today. How about a third?

    Ignorant

    And he just proved it

Heisey averages 3.88 from home to 1st....Stubbs averages 3.75

Stubbs is 0/14, failed bunt and 2 baserunning errors and Heisey has 1 flipping plate appearance and works a tough walk and steals 2nd. He had 28 starts over 35 games and hit .302

Whether it is for show or they are really practicing....doing it twice ain't cutting it.
