"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Maybe you should just enjoy yourself. It's a game.

And don't go "we get it" to me when you're the one bashing a guy who's having a decent season...
"On-base percentage is great if you can score runs and do something with that on-base percentage," Baker said. "Clogging up the bases isn't that great to me."

? Not sure why anyone would think it was a sure thing? Also not sure why anyone wouldn't be disappointed when a 1st rounder doesn't pan out.

    Suicidal? No.

    Disappointed? Absolutely.

Keep beating down the guy who allowed 2 R in 5 IP, he's the problem.

Of course he's not really bad either. He's a league-average starting pitcher. You need those guys, and he's not expensive. I for one don't understand all of the animosity..

Probably doesn't have 100 yet because of something that bum Homer Bailey did.
