Indeed. They are scary good. Even Ron Washington may not be able to keep them from winning it all this time around.

I just looked up Hanigan's stats for the last thirty days and they are about what you said.

Hanigan is either worn down or just in a long slump.

Maybe it's time to find a third starter for Mes, leaving Ryan to catch two of 'em.

    Rivera strikes out, Kennedy singles.

I wouldn't mess up a good battery. He's still the eighth batter.

Stadium playing music with Cueto on the rubber. Classy.

Weird sequence. Cueto calls time to adjust pants or jock, stadium plays music and doesnt cut it off during Cueto looking for the sign, so the ump calls time. Then Cueto pitches seemingly before the ump settles in. Pop out to Hanigan.

Cruz rung up on a borderline pitch. What a beaut.

Trying to get Mes some more action. Has a live bat when he makes contact.

Scoreless after two. Cueto leads off.

I get that, but the pitching has been so great, I wouldn't throw a wrench in a half season's worth of rapport. Now, if, god forbid, someone goes down, I would entertain the idea of matching the replacement with Mez.

Cueto strikes out, Coz flies out deep in the corner.

Stubbs watches an 88mph meatball for strike three.

Was hopeful about Stubbs when he moved to the two spot in the order earlier in the season.

But since he came back from the oblique injury, his hitting has regressed to the depths of 2011.
