Re: 7/3/2012: Reds @ Dodgers--Votto returns, Cozart has a hard head

"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

    What?

Oof, that's a bad pitch, but Hanny probably shoulda had it. 3-1 on what's scored a steal of home.

Late inning frustration continues. Can't wait for this trend to end...

The missed opportunities of earlier coming back to haunt.

And Cueto certainly is entitled to allow a run.

But that one was predictable because it was Abreu. And in a very tight, low scoring game, I think it was a particularly bad mistake to throw it down Broadway to a hitter like Abreu.

I would have rather he walked him. That's all.
Agreed that he should be better than that.

It would be nice if we could, you know, score.

    Gwynn strikes out. Two down.
