Love the leadership from Votto. Cueto clearly sought him out, and Votto made sure to give him a "chin up."

Dodger reliever that inning looked pretty good.

Brook Jacoby has more job security than Pope Benedict at this stage.

Well in fairness to those guys, that is the philosophy of the manager.

This is Votto's team all the way. BP may think it's his but Joey is the leader. As he should be. BP is the rah rah guy and that's necessary too, but Joey is the respected quiet guy they all look up too. Even BP, I think.

Do you guys ever think to tip your cap to the opposing teams pitcher or just prefer to bash the offense?
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Completely agree. Both serve important roles, and there's no confusion as to who does what.

My cap-tipping arm is sore. Apparently the Reds have no control over the offense. We just tip caps.

Stubbs is batting .218 with a .648 OPS. When does this stop?
