My ears only were slightly uncomfortable during my bout with it, but my vertigo lasted almost 3 months.

You can feel the effects of Vertigo for a long time. About 20 years ago I had vertigo. After I finally got it calmed down enough to be able to walk, I would feel dizzy whenever I looked up or took quick sideways glances. I'd say it took a couple of years or more to be able to not notice dizziness especially when looking straight up.

Man. Glad mine didn't last that long. Ugh.

Crazy how much the anxiety part can affect you. The example I have of it is pretty crazy when I think about it. I am currently 6' tall and weigh in about 200 lbs. I've been around that most of my adult life. I lift weights religiously so my weight slowly increase as I gain muscle. When the anxiety kicked in, I had no appetite, and no energy to go to the gym. When i finally went to the dr I weighed in at 165, and the sweatshirt I was wearing was just hanging off my body. I looked terrible. My first day back at the gym, I had to have assistance putting up 95lbs on a incline bench press. To out that into perspective, my current max is 315. I think if it weren't for the anxiety symptom if the inner ear infection I could've have dealt with it better. That anxiety though, man, it did a number on me. Especially since I had needed dealt with any sort of anxiety before. I also remember when my appetite came back. I couldn't eat fast enough.

I'm with ya man. These last few days I've FINALLY started to feel better. The dizziness has been bad, but the anxiety was even worse. I was afraid to leave my house, to do ANYTHING. But today and yesterday, I've been in pretty good shape. I think I've turned a corner, thank goodness.
Have they talked about Meniere's Disease as a possibility?

My wife battled dizziness for 2 years with really no definitive diagnosis, she would get better than worse. It always seemed to happen when she was driving. She just recently started driving alone again after like 5 long years. The dizziness caused her anxiety to worsen as well. Good luck.
When I see the 2016 Reds, I see a 100 loss team and no direction.
It's my understanding that it is highly unlikely for a male to get Meniere's, and that it was most common in middle-aged women going through menopause. I may be wrong though.

I don't know:
http://www.dizziness-and-balance.com...es.html#commonHow common is Meniere's disease?
Studies have shown that Meniere's disease affects about 200 out of 100,000 people (or in other words, 2/1000). This is roughly the same prevalence as multiple sclerosis (MS). The majority of people with Meniere's disease are over 40 years of age, with equal distribution between males and females. Interestingly, the Framingham study found that 2/100 people believe they have Meniere's disease in the US, suggesting that misdiagnosis is far more common than the correct diagnosis.
My suggestion is to get something that they can cure...
I've been feeling much better lately. Still not 100%, but well enough to function anyways. I'm extremely sick to my stomach tonight, which is the first time that's happened in a few weeks. The dizziness has more or less been kept at bay, however. Still having ear pain, although the pressure has subsided and the ringing has stopped.
