    Told people leaving SF series that you can't do the "great time to play the Dodgers" bit.

    It's never a great time to play the Dodgers when you're the Reds in LA. Last year was aberration. I've seen this dog and pony show for years.

    I'd feel better if I was confident this would convince management that guys like Stubbs are hopelessly incompetent, but nothing will change.

    This was a great time to play the Dodgers. Whether we played like garbage or not, this is a Dodgers team that was playing its worst baseball and without multiple key parts of its team. But I guess we busted them out of the slump.
