Seriously? Great God. And now Phillips screws up again. How big of a mess is this team?

Phillips is one of the worst base runners I've ever seen.

He shouldn't have even been taking a lead from first. Unreal.

    Completely agree.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Bruce missed that pitch by two feet.

That's Phillips being Phillips not Stubbs. Brandon does that kind of bleep all the time. One minute he's an all-star the next he is sleeping on the field.

Should have been a 4 pitch walk, with men on 1st and 2nd and nobody out. Instead, Phillips gets himself picked off on the 3-2 pitch, then Bruce Ks.
