No. If Dusty has faith in Ondrusek pitching the 9th you have to try and get the out with him. He simply served a 2nd and 3rd 1 out situation to them with Maybin coming up. Of course he got a hit, but yeah. This may be Dusty's worst performance in a while. Matched only by a putrid offense.

    Why?

I guarantee you he won't take any personal responsibility.

It's unfortunate that Dusty isn't as good at managing a baseball team as he is at coming up with excuses.

I thought he should have had a lefty against Grandal too. Most switchers hit better left handed.

But if you leave in the righty, you can't pitch to Alonso there.
So you bring in Chapman... Ahhh... But you can't deviate from the "Closers gotta close bro" script..

A few years back when the Reds would jump off to a good start, it would be the June Swoon that we all dreaded to see come around. I guess the positive is that we're at least making it to the All-Star break before the wheels fall off.

My jaw dropped when I saw LeCure. Right before that when I saw Dusty in the dugout with head down and both hands on knees I almost called 911. I thought he was having a heart attack. But nope. Only thing dead around here is Phillips brain and our offense.

Dusty, Walt, and the whole organization needs a "come to Jesus" meeting with BCast. This team is way bad offensively and the bullpen has become simply horrible, sick horrible. I have no faith that changes will be made because there is no money while we spent huge money and prospects on pitching. Not my philosophy. But then again I am daft.

I guess even Bray for the one batter.

But look, once Grandal got the double, walking Alonso is ok.

But then, two on, you need to go to Arredondo or Chapman. You can't leave Logan in with two men on.

The team is playing very badly. A shame they are wasting such good starting pitching.

I bet Cast is really glad he opened up his wallet this offseason.

    This team is LIGHTS OUT.
