We can't even get him sent to the bottom half of the lineup.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Why no bunt attempt? If you're struggling this badly do anything.

Joey just doesn't seem himself since the knee inflammation flared up.

TMBS, I'm sick of seeing Stubbs and and Cozart at the top of the lineup too...
Even if its just a run or two more every few games its worth it.

Phillips, Bruce, Votto, Frazier, Ludwick, etc

Opponents continue to stack their lineups with 7, 8 lefties when they face Latos and Arroyo.

The Reds still have but 2 lefties on their entire roster...

I know you know this, but that helps, not because of lineup construction, but because the best hitters get more AB's. 50-100 AB's a season for Phillps, Bruce and Votto would be a big help.
