Giants up 6-4 on the Buccos in the 7th. Would be nice if SF can cool them off a bit.

Dusty and BP did have a long meeting today and it was about him moving to the leadoff spot. Dusty is apparently considering Ludwick at cleanup if the move is made.

Sellout crowd in Pittsburgh. That place looks so different full of fans. As a pure baseball fan, I'm glad to see it. Great park, fans that have ached for a winner a long, long time.

Pick your poison... no protection for Votto or nobody on base for him.

The next year more greatness...Willy Taveras who had 400 AB and an OPS of .558 topped everyone with an 0-17, an 0-19 and an 0-35.

Neither got to start 7 straight during.
I remember Patterson not drawing a walk for two and a half months (5/28 to 8/8) and thinking that this couldn't really be happening.

T-Virus made me forget all about Patterson, of course.

As much as I hate the city of Pittsburgh there is no doubt that PNC Park is a beautiful place to take in a game. I highly recommend a trip there if you can swing it.

On the bright side, the Pirates are down 6-4 in the 8th.

Pirates pitching is falling apart. Once the bats cool off, it is a long long way down.

    Dusty yet squirms.

Marlins tie the game 1-1 courtesy of two Freese errors.

I bet Heisey is a happy camper right now. Dude was the only offense we had last night and he doesn't get the start in CF.

I see some players sticking needles into Baker dolls.

Hurdle is good with those young teams.
