I will say it again. Drew Stubbs is the type of player that will get a manager fired. He just looks like he should be better than he really is. And for that reason managers will keep running him out there.
Zero chance the Reds miss the playoffs!

Yeah, I thought Drew was going to be a 800ops guy after 2010. One of my bigger busts.

I had to come on to complain...it's gotten to the pt, every time Stubbs comes up to the plate my head starts to spin around & I forget who I am...I know, I feel like I'm beatin' a dead horse...

The problem is when he plays good ball, parts of 2010 and before he got hurt this year, he can really be a difference maker. He is a great athlete. But he has a complete hole in his swing, has no plan at the plate, and refuses to change his approach.

ya know boys I got to thinking. Is there a better position in baseball than hitting it front of Joey Votto?...Seriously? You are hitting in front of the best hitter in the National League. HOW BAD IS DREW STUBBS? I mean really. You are the worst #2 hitter in the history of baseball.

How good is Joey Votto for still hitting 350ish? Really...no protection whatsoever.
Not this year...maybe a Wild Card

True, if he was an average bunter.
But he also sucks at bunting, hard right to the pitcher.

this is the 3rd year in a row that his average and every other offensive category has gone DOWN.....not exactly good at age 27.
Not this year...maybe a Wild Card
