A Lake Elsinore's Rico Noel to reach base to start the game on a Devin Lohman error, he steals 2nd (his 59th) but is picked off by Josh Smith. Smith then allows a HR before retiring the next two batters.

Theo Bowe singles to leadoff the bottom of the 2nd, but is promptly caught stealing. 1-0 Storm after one.

Billings goes down 1-2-3 in the 5th, 6th, 7th & 8th innings. Great Falls was scoreless in those innings also, so the Mustangs go to the top of the 9th needing two. Down 4-2.

I think I heard the announcer of the Wahoos tonight mention he has Plantar Fasciitis which is really painful but he still manage to get his 22nd stolen base of the year!

Carlos Sanchez with two out walk, followed bt a Dan Pigott single, but the Robert Ramirez K's to end the game. Billings Falls 2-1.

Amaral with single and a walk, Winker with a walk, Sanchez with a triple and a walk and Dan Pigott with a single and 2 RBIs on two GO's - that was it for the Billings offense tonight.

According to Joe's page at Mercer, he had a brother named Jesse, who was 4 years younger than him. Looks like it is his brother.

Brackman on in the top of the ninth. Allows a leadoff double, but retires the next three.

In the bottom of the inning, Juan Duran, Nico Vasquez and Devin Lohman draw one out walks, Danny Viscioso and Theo Bowe drive in runs with one-run singles. After a pitching change, Jurt Muller walks to force in a 3rd run. bringing the tying run to the on deck circle before Travis Mattair grounds out to drive in the 4th run of the inning (but it's also the second out)
