There must be a mercy rule in the Southern League. Cingrani has been relieved: 6 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 3 BB, 3 K.

Beau Amaral with a one-out single in the 3rd, but was reased when Winker grounded into an inning-ending DP. Amaral is 2-2 so far with a run and is hitting .348 on the year.

Cisco gives up another run on two out 2 singles sandwiched around a SB. He promptly leaves after the second single. replaced by jose Amazucua who retires the next bat on a pop up to end the inng. Billings trails 2-1 after three. I'd say Cisco reached his pitch count.

    His final line:

    2.2 6 2 2 0 2 0 5.06

Billings quickly gets the run back in the bottom of the third on Carlos Sanchez'z 4th triple of the year and a GO by Daniel Pigott. Pigott has both Billings RBIs and both game on GO's. Now 2-2 middle of four.

Wonder if Sanchez is a prospect. He's looking good right now.

I didn't know that LaMarre is nursing a sore ankle.

Amezucua, turns around and gives up two of his own in the bottom of the fourth on a single, a double a FO and a single. Great Falls now leads 4-2 after four.

No place for him to play in Dayton. Buckley is an everyday guy. If they had a spot for a first baseman, Maddox would already be there.

Coming from someone who has been highly critical of the player (and rightfully so), Yorman is starting to look like a ballplayer.
