    Homer had him rung up.
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Looked like pitches 2 and 5 were strikes, yikes.

I wondered about that. Can't ask for a better shot to get a runner at the plate than that.

He still lacks concentration or something when he gets the lead....but as that Dodger game showed, he can do it.

Nice HP ump.....you blew it and let the Padres have another bite.

Denorfia strikes out looking. 6 Ks for Bailey. 3-2 Reds after 5.

I'm not gonna chalk that inning up to Bailey's head. As mentioned earlier - unfortunate.

    Boy Votto is just...not himself.

I agree at this point he would best off skipping the game.

Votto got on base four times last night and has a single in this game. His power may be reduced by his knee injury, but he's still hitting ok.

Would like to see DatDude do something here.

I don't mean in terms of performance, I mean just watching him play.
