Very fine outing for Bailey. One of the stars of the west coast trip for the Reds.

Hopefully Jose will NOT start walking guys and will NOT give up a homer run as relievers sometimes do with their first batter.

Starting pitching deserves a huge hand on this road trip

Reds really need Arredondo to pitch well. While the pen has been successful, the Reds' top relievers are left handed.

Arredondo is the only righty with superior stuff. He needs to come through.

    damnit
"Since I've been with the Reds in 1989, we've never had a farm system this loaded," Bowden said. "If we were the New York Yankees and had unlimited dollars, we could have traded for Colon, (Jeff) Weaver, Rolen, (Cliff) Floyd, (Kenny) Rogers and Finley and gotten them all -- and still held onto our top five prospects. That's an amazing statement."

Amarista singles to right. 6-4 Reds. 1st and 3rd.

Hard not to see it coming; they were due for regression.
