Huge, looping swing with 2 strikes. Pro.
Rounding third and heading for home...

    Drew Scrubbs everybody.

I'm glad Heisey isn't playing today.

Well there you saw the two extremes of Reds baseball, JC's incredible dash to third and Stubbs' inability to put the bat on the ball off of a mediocre pitcher. And that's why this team is going nowhere.

Dusty should be fired for playing Stubbs over Heisey or Frazier today. There is no excuse for this at all.

Simply pitiful at-bats from Votto and Stubbs, and simply pitiful managing by not having Heisey in there today.

Its like the concept of choking up and just trying to make contact in that situation never entered his mind. I'm beginning to think a big part of Stubbs' problem is that he's just not the sharpest pencil in the box.

He is very, very fast and that always equates to value. Severe, juicy, delicious baseball Bakermetrics value.

If they pitched Cueto on Friday, they would not be 'rushing' him back. That would be his normal day to pitch.

He did not have 2 hits yesterday. He's back to 5 in a row making outs.
