Evokes memories of my all-time fave player, Eric Davis. Hated losing the dinger but that was truly a pleasure to watch.

I tried to do that once in center --- true story -- the ball went off my glove - I hurt my back so bad I missed the rest of the season

I think we have a our top of the top ten

I saw Davis do that to his old buddy strawberry one night at Shea. Strawman just stood there and gave him the evil eye.

Went to grab a drink and "toe" does it again

What does Stubbs' contract look like because it's apparent the kid isn't an every day player, not even close

Stubbs & Rolen today 0-5, 4 Ks. Thankfully their black hole of suckitude is outweighed by Johnny Cueto today.

Weird thing is the Padres have a Stubbs on their team. Cameron Maybin, but his ceiling is much higher IMO

And a great catch by Cameron Maybin. One of the best I've seen this year.

That's part of his intrinsic value. He even makes the fans have to be faster. You don't even have the time to take a comfortable stroll to the fridge for an ICE COLD HUDEPOHL. Stubbs strikes out even faster than he runs.

I think someone on this club should be a leader and go to Dusty and tell him he is not giving the team the best chance of winning using Stubbs and Rolen in any starting line up.
But who has the b-lls to do it?
