I hope LaGenius sticks with him a little longer, gives Joey one more swing. Would love to see him get in on the fun tonight.
Rounding third and heading for home...

I read somewhere earlier today that Joey was only going to go 3-4 innings to give his knee a rest. LaHair was talking about getting some 1B time tonight.

I don't think Votto has not done much in any national audience games...??

I'm surprised he's still in the game, maybe it's LaRussa? If he was 3 for 3 he would probably be on the bench now.

Setting up to see RA Dickey, then Adis?

Would love to see them make the pitching change mid-count.

Did you hear Joe Buck? He said the Cards are behind the Bucs this year, no mention at all that they also trail the Reds, like they don't even matter!

Caught that and thought that was pretty weak. Also mentioned Freese normally a Third Basement but replaced Votto who was 0-3, like Freese came in because of Votto.

He also mentioned how Strasburg has the fastest pitch average in the MLB, didn't mention Chapman.

I know I'm being overly sensitive.

Top of the 7th, Hamels on the mound. Still 8-0 NL.
