When he gives Dusty better options then he can say something.

I agree his options are limited and I'm not as upset about the construction of the line up, though I still would like to see Phillips somewhere in the top two spot. I'm more pissed about leaving Heisey and Frazier out of it.

Except for the pitchers, we have only 2 hitters hitting above .250 in this lineup today, while in contrast, the Cardinals have only Furcal below .292.
Doesn't look too promising for scoring much.

Dusty has his favorites and it plays out in lineup construction. The problem is, Stubbs is so terminally bad right now, Jocketty may have to intervene in some capacity.

That's a good play by Freese, not a terrible bunt by Stubbs.

    Anyone have a stream?

Stubbs trying to bunt for a base hit, at least something different

Two out, nobody on for NL's best pure hitter. Same as it ever was...

Don't need to change the lineup though, it is just fine the way it is

When he fires them. Until then, he should stay out of it and do his job and let the manager do his. If he has a problem with who is playing, then make a move for someone else or get rid of said player, or get rid of the coach. But don't try and play manager and general manager at the same time.

Anyone know if Votto has the lowest RBI total for a # 3 hitter in the Majors?

nah, there's no way he's even close to that

And I know I'm not saying anything new right now, but man... St. Louis's lineup is crazy good. They've got us beat at essentially every position outside of 1st/2nd, and by a fair amount. You figure they've got to start playing more like their run differential suggests eventually, and when they do... Ugh.

He has been a wreck in the field lately and not good enough at the plate.
