I was, George Foster. I really, really, really like Bill Bray. He's struggled coming back from his injury, but he'll get it down.

ok then...i respect your confidence in Bray. I like playing the percentages. I felt Chapman had a higher percentage of getting the out....thats all.

Yea and if Dusty goes with the numbers and it blows up in his face he gets blamed. It's a double standard but whatever carry on.

There's no doubt Bray hasn't proved it, and in fact shown to be a scary input into a tight game. Baker has the guts and you have to give him credit for that. Don't know if I would have the guts in the same situation with Chapman there, but then I also don't like using Chapman as much as Baker does. I probably would have gone with Bray and leave Chapman for another inning in hopes we can get a lead in the bottom of the 8th.
But, since our bottom of the 8th lineup was none too good and the bottom of the ninth no better with Cozart and Stubbs, I'd probably try to save Chapman for pitching the top of the 10th.
