    7/16/12 - Reds vs Diamondbacks

    Reds lineup:

    Drew Stubbs CF
    Zack Cozart SS
    Todd Frazier 1B
    Brandon Phillips 2B
    Jay Bruce RF
    Scott Rolen 3B
    Chris Heisey LF
    Ryan Hanigan C
    Bronson Arroyo P
This is just a scheduled off day for Votto. Even before last night's game Dusty decided he was giving Votto today off.

Kind of the B-Squad with Heisey AND Stubbs, Rolen and no Votto but oh well. Good to see Frazier back in the lineup anyway.
“I don’t care,” Votto said of passing his friend and former teammate. “He’s in the past. Bye-bye, Jay.”

I like Frazier at 1b instead of Cairo.

Oh, well, except for Votto being out, this is a very good defensive ballclub tonight.

Not sure why Ludwick is sitting, he's hit lefties better than Heisey. I guess Chris is "hot" coming off a good game last night except for his last at bat.

Hope Frazier has a good game to show he can hit in the middle of the lineup.

I was going to celebrate the lack of Goldschmidt, but then I remembered that Overbay has always killed us and is 5 for 8 career against Arroyo.

Five lefty bats for DBacks including the pitcher. The usual way to try and beat Arroyo.

Lets hope Arroyo doesn't think he's in Toronto.

Drew singled on a line drive to RF.
Bloomquist singled on a bouncing ball through the left side of the infield.
Hill singled on a soft line drive that fell in front of Stubbs.

    Bases loaded, no out.

Montero clears the bases with a double. 3-0 snakes.

Oh dear. Bad Bronson showed up tonight. Hope Simon is rested enough to give us some innings.

Looks like I'll be watering flowers and checking on the score later.

    5 hits, none particularly stung.

    One of those nights.
