I'm going to be obnoxiously wearing my Reds hat EVERYWHERE! Lots of Cards fans up here who need reminding there are other teams out there!

This was a huge huge win. Hopefully they don't muck it up with a bad performance against the sheety Dbacks, but the Cardinals are reeling right now. The Pirates are starting to see reality. We can capture this race up to the deadline when hopefully Stubbs is gone and Votto is hitting again.

Cards offense did not have a good series. I thought Latos, Leake and Bailey were all quite hittable, especially Latos. The Reds were just tougher(hard to believe).

And the # 1 star: Big Game Homer. Just a terrific pitching performance.
Gotta get some love in there for Heisey getting on 3 straight times, keeping innings alive early in game. Whole different dimension with him in there over Stubbs.
Rounding third and heading for home...

geez, I step out of the office for lunch with score tied at 2-2, I return to a 4-2 Reds victory Guess I'll have to stop *****in' about Dusty playing Scott Rolen...at least for a day or two.

i dont think the Pirates are falling off yet. they just ran into a brewers team that has owned them the last few seasons.

That Molina "homerun" was crazy. Only GAB. I mean, how can getting fooled on a curveball and popping it up turn into a Hr? Amazing the Reds don't have more HR's than they do. Shows the struggle of this offense right now.
