Hey Cardfan, you here for the game or to rehash two-year old bullcrap?

    Big inning here for Homer.

My assumption (yes you may break the word down if it makes you feel good) was that:

1 - LaRue was most likely going to retire after the season. There was not a formal announcement but it was rumered if I recall correctly.

2 - As a catcher, that wasn't his 1st concussion, he had a few previously with most of those when he was the Reds starting catcher between 2001 and 2005.

3 - You don't have to be a to know that there are residual effects of concussions.

It obviously doesn't take a to read this and along with the earlier quote where LaRue went to Pittsburgh:

Hope this clears it up for you, good luck on that one.

As far as repeating BS stories long enough, on that one. PHILLIPS, PHILLIPS, PHILLIPS, PHILLIPS and that junk could go on for the next forever with both clubs 100+ year history.
Gracious, give it a rest already.

Totally agree. His automatic outs in the two hole is a joke. It is like having two pitchers in the lineup.

As long as one of those pitchers isn't mike leake.

Heisey's already "at the top of his game", so he good.

Stubbs, of course, needs the PT to get to the top of his.
