He's given up seven more hits than innings pitched, gives up taters at a 0.9 rate, walks a bunch (3.9/9), and Ks 8.0/9.

I like the mid- to high-90s fastball, but, at this point, don't see much beyond a guy like Scott Carroll.

Completely different guy as a reliever though. Only AA numbers:
    Code:
Entire Season	ERA	IP	H	HR	BB	SO	GO/AO
    Reliever	2.56	31.2	27	2	10	30	0.84
    Starter 9.18	16.2	28	3	11	13	1.69
The difference is startling. He walked more in half the innings. What is really interesting is the change in GO/AO. While I prefer the actual breakdown of all BIP and not just outs, that much of a difference is going to show up in either way you break it down.

I'd like to see Stephenson get a few starts in Dayton. He's proved himself worthy of that opportunity by his performance in Billings.

Jose Fernandez and Dylan Bundy were both HS pitchers drafted in the same round who are now in A+. Every pitcher is different, but I don't think it would be rushing Stephenson to see what he could do in Dayton at this point.
    Go BLUE!!!
