The DBacks have had to dive for more balls thrown by Bauer than Reds batted balls.

Quick! Who has a higher OPS? Ludwick or Bruce?

Answer: Jay, but only by 3 pts.

Bauer has just had no release point tonight. But you gotta admit the kid has some amazing stuff.

Why isn't Ludwick batting 4th full time?

Oh, and his slash line since May 20th is .267/.324/.578/.902

Bruce's over the same period: .221/.322/.424/.746

    - W. Bloomquist caught stealing, catcher to second
    - A. Hill walked
    - M. Montero safe at first on third baseman S. Rolen's fielding error, A. Hill to second

Still wouldn't mind seeing Redmond get a start and give everyone an extra day

    Bauer out, Collmenter in.

    Heisey K's.

Hanigan the Manigan ground rule double.

Cueto flies out to right, Hanigan tags and goes to third.

    Stubbs K's.

    4-0 Reds after 4.

Gonna have a long hot July and August without a lot of off days - decent outing from Redmond could give them extra days of rest and also give them an idea of what he can do. I don't give a flip for that 5 man streak - keep them fresh as possible for the end of September and the playoffs

With a little help from the ump. That strike two pitch was horrible.
